COMMUNITY GARDEN
OF HOPE

Community Gardens are a growing trend thoroughout the country and these unique neighborhood projects have helped create a sense of community and a connection to the environment. Donations are made to local food banks, which helps those on low or fixed incomes stretch their food budgets.

Located at the corner of 100th & Steele in Thornton. We are associated with the Adams County Community Gardens CO-OP is coordinated through the RSVP Department of the Senior Hub. Keep Thornton Beautiful also provides funding to help establish gardens. We are looking for volunteers to help in our Community garden.

Whether you have never grown vegetables, or have a lot of experience, you are invited to join us. You can give as little or as much time as you like. The only requirement is that you are from the community and have a willingness to help. The payoff is that you get to share some of the vegetables grown and make new friends.
